238 Church is committed to honoring copyright law, creators, and licensing requirements while producing and distributing worship services, sermons, and original media content. This page explains how licensed content is used and clarifies ownership of original material produced by our church.

Section 2: Licensed Worship Content

Music & Worship Licensing

238 Church maintains active licenses that allow the legal use, display, projection, reproduction, and streaming of copyrighted worship music during services and broadcasts.

Our licensing coverage includes:

Congregational singing

Lyric projection

Video Syndication and Live streaming of worship services

Archived service playback

Worship planning and song selection tools

Licenses are administered through Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and are kept current according to their published terms and conditions.

Section 3: Streaming & Online Distribution

Live & Archived Services

When worship music appears in live streams or archived services, it is done under the appropriate streaming license. Platforms may include, but are not limited to:

Website embeds

YouTube

Facebook Live

Local cable access

Other approved broadcast or streaming platforms

Certain songs or segments may be muted or edited in archived recordings when required by licensing rules.

Section 4: Original Church Content

Sermons, Teaching & Media Created by 238 Church

Unless otherwise noted, all original content produced by 238 Church is copyrighted and owned by 238 Church. This includes:

Sermons and teaching content

Original video productions

Graphics, branding, and design assets

Written articles, devotionals, and blog posts

Original photography and media clips

Usage Policy

Content may be shared for personal, non-commercial use with attribution.

Reproduction, resale, rebroadcast, or modification for commercial use requires written permission.

Section 5: Personal & Independent Content

Pastor, Staff & Independent Projects

Some content featured on this site or its associated platforms may be produced independently by pastors, staff members, or affiliated creators outside the scope of church licensing.

Independent content remains the intellectual property of its creator.

Licensing for worship music does not automatically apply to independent or commercial projects.

Responsibility for rights clearance rests with the individual creator for those works.
