Hi there! I’m Pastor Jerry Simmons, honored to lead 238 Church here in DeForest, Wisconsin. Alongside my wonderful wife, Lindsay, and our daughters, Mattie and Mayla, we are deeply committed to serving this community. Our mission is to embody the principles of Acts 2:38—repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Spirit—to transform lives and impact our community. My Story

I’ve had the privilege of serving in ministry for many years, alongside my amazing wife, Lindsay Simmons. We’re both graduates of Apostolic Bible Institute, and together, we’ve served in various ministry roles at the local, state, and national levels. These experiences have shaped my passion for building a church that is rooted in scripture and fueled by the Holy Spirit.

Why Acts 2:38?

I firmly believe in the power of the Acts 2:38 message—repentance, baptism, and the gift of the Holy Spirit—to change lives. At 238 Church, we aim to live out these principles in everything we do, creating a place where people can encounter God, grow in faith, and connect with an authentic community.

My Family

My wife Lindsay and I are blessed to do ministry together. Our family is an essential part of my life, and we’re passionate about creating a church that feels like family for everyone who walks through the doors.
